Samuel Edward McNutt died Monday morning May 25, 2020 in the Sterling Village Long Term Care Facility from Covid – 19 virus. Sam was 92.
Sam was a son of the late Samuel and Florence (Mossman) McNutt,
Sam lived in Watertown all his life. He worked for the MDC as a park foreman and was an Usher at the Boston Garden. He also was a crossing guard at the East end of Watertown and a greeter at Watertown Savings West End branch, He served in the Navy during WW II (1944 – 1946) and served on the USS Fall River.
He is survived by his wife Audrey, they were married 70 years. He also leaves his sisters Eleanor E. Hoyt and Jane LeBlanc, and was predeceased by his brother Russell H. McNutt. Sam lived on Capitol St. then Warren St. before going to Sterling Nursing Home.
