A Funeral Mass for Viola Mancini of Watertown will be held on Friday January 5, 2024, at 12 Noon in the Church of St. Patrick, Watertown.
Viola was born in East Boston to the late Giovanni & Rosina Pungitore. Viola passed away on January 1st, 2024. She was 92.
Vi spent her childhood in East Boston before meeting and marrying her husband, Nick. They raised a family in Watertown where she lived for 70 years. Vi and Nick owned and operated Mancini Brothers Auto Repair.
Vi enjoyed her summers in Duxbury with her family. She loved playing bingo, going to Mohegan Sun and most of all spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was the beloved wife of the late Nicholas A. Mancini. Loving mother of Nancy Lumia & her husband Michael of Salem, Janet Brogan & her husband Thomas of Waltham, Elaine Caramanica & her husband Mark of Waltham, and Donna DiMare & her husband Paul of Marblehead. Dear sister of the late Catherine Fantucchio. She was the loving grandmother to 12 grandchildren including the late Matthew Caramanica & Colin DiMare. Doting great-grandmother of 10 great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Friday January 5, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 11:45 AM in the MacDonald Rockwell & MacDonald Funeral Home at 270 Main St. Watertown followed by Funeral Mass in St. Patrick Church, 212 Main St. Watertown at 12 Noon. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Interment St. Patrick Cemetery, Watertown.
