William E. Hunt

A visitation for William E. “Bill” Hunt will be celebrated on Sunday October 4th, 2020 in the MacDonald Rockwell & MacDonald Funeral Home, Watertown from 3 to 6 PM.

Bill was the son of the late Earl W. Hunt & Jeannette B. (LeClair) Hunt. Mr. Hunt passed away Saturday morning September 26, 2020.  He was 78.

William joined the United States Air Force in July of 1960 at the age of nineteen.  He earned the rank of Airman 2nd Class and was stationed at Larson Air Force Base in Washington.

After his service, Bill furthered his career as an electrician by obtaining a degree in electrical engineering from Wentworth University.  He was the president of Watertown Youth Baseball and also Scout Master of Troop 262 of the Boy Scouts of America.

He was the beloved husband of Patricia A. (Burns) Hunt. Loving father of John William Hunt & his partner Ilaria of Los Angeles, Cheryl L. Furtado & her husband Bill of Watertown, and Stephen C. Hunt & his wife Emaly of Lynn. Loving grandfather of Eric & Emily Furtado, Wylder Davidson, and Leopold & Lilou Hunt.

Visiting hours in the MacDonald, Rockwell & MacDonald funeral home 270 Main St. Watertown Sunday October 4th from 3-6 pm. Those over 60 & those with underlying health conditions may visit between 3-4 pm, all others are invited to attend between 4-6 pm. Due to the current precautions surrounding Covid-19, please abide by the social distancing guidelines and wear a mask. 

Funeral service & interment at MA National Cemetery will be held privately.
