A Mass of Christian Burial for William T. Mannix of Nashua, New Hampshire, will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 24, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at the Church of St. Patrick, 212 Main Street, Watertown.
William “Bill” Mannix was born in Cambridge to the late William J. Mannix and Mildred C. (Callahan) Mannix. He passed away suddenly on December 19, 2025, at the age of 74.
Bill proudly served his country as a United States Air Force veteran and later worked for many years as a postal worker with the United States Post Office.
A devout Catholic, Bill was a faithful parishioner of St. Joseph Church in Nashua. He had a lifelong love of sports, especially baseball and basketball, and cherished sharing his love of baseball with his father. Bill was known for his warm smile, cheerful spirit, and great sense of humor—always happy and always ready with a good joke.
He was the beloved brother of Kathleen M. Traversi of Woburn, Carol M. Mannix of Watertown, and Joanne Mannix of Ashland. He was a loving uncle to Cheryl Traversi and Candace Powderly and her husband, Michael, and a caring great-uncle to Brody and Brooke Powderly.
