A private funeral service and interment at Mount Feake Cemetery in Waltham will be held for Yva A. Petit

Ms. Petit passed away on January 28, 2021 in Newton-Wellesley Hospital after a brief illness. Yva was 64.

Yva was born in Saint-Louis-du-Sud, Haiti to Rene and Luce (Henry) Petit and lived in Waltham. She worked as a home health aid. 

She was the beloved daughter of the late Rene and Luce (Henry) Petit. Loving sister of Jean M. Petit, Marlene Petit, and Marie G. Petit. Yva is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She leaves behind Reine Gelin, Elva Gelin, and Joseph A. Gelin.

Due to the ongoing pandemic, a private funeral service for Yva will be held at the MacDonald Rockwell & MacDonald Funeral Home followed by an interment at Mount Feake Cemetery in Waltham.
