I'm very grateful to have known Dick. What a stand up guy, tough as nails and a great family man. Like any veteran, I thank Dick for his service to our country, and for the kind of guy he was. Rest in God's Peace.

Dick was a wonderful neighbor and friend who always took an interest in our lives, from when we were small children. I have fond memories of him growing up. He will be missed on Gertrude Street.
