A Funeral Mass for Ida Adelaide (Russo) Napolitano, 100, will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 10, 2012, at 9 o'clock AM in the Church of Saint Patrick, 212 Main Street, Watertown.
Mrs. Napolitano, a daughter of the late Antonio and Vincenza (Iodice) Napolitano, was born in Watertown. She was a lifelong Watertown resident, attended Watertown Schools, and graduated from Girls Trade High School in Boston. Mrs. Napolitano had worked throughout her lifetime in the financial office of A. Russo & Sons in Watertown, a firm that her father had founded. She was a member and Past Treasuer of the Cornelia dei Gracchi Lodge, OSIA, in Watertown. Mrs. Napolitano died at her residence on Sunday, October 7, 2012, after a period of declining health.
She was the beloved wife of the late Arthur C. Napolitano who died in April 1980; devoted mother of Arthur C. Napolitano of Watertown; and dear sister of the late Olgo A. Russo and E. Gildo Russo. She is also survived by 2 granddaughters, a great-grandson, nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to go directly to the Church of St. Patrick, 212 Main St., Watertown on Wednesday at 9 AM for her Funeral Mass. Interment is private. Also at her request there will be no visiting hours.
